  • Album w/ Charvel on cover

I found this album in my collection. Check out the strat and the Charvel endorsement. The album is Jack Starr Out Of The Darkness, early 80s metal.

I have that album. I found it uninspiring but the guitar on the cover is cool.

a name from the past for sure. At one time on LI in Huntington there was a cool little club were guitarists hung out. I played in a band called "Matrix" at the time and would play and hang out there. A guitarist that was bluesy and unique was "Guitar Pete and the asphalt Rockers" We would jam there and many locals would play. Eric Setzer, Riche Blackmore and many you have never heard of. It was the closest to a rock culture hotspot as e has and lasted a few years. Jack would be there on occasion. All I can say is he had great guitars. I bought my spiderweb after playing his guitar and a few Charvels owned by another player who will remain nameless. Pete was outstanding. Richie was cool, eric was cool, many great players and oh yeah, Jack had nice guitars.
