      Re: My First Prepro

I have a one piece, solid birdseye maple bodied strathead, and it has a nice warm tone. Everyone says that maple guitars are too bright sounding, but I haven't found that to be the case.
If only I had back the money I gave that TV preacher....

        Dreamland_Rebel & Shelby,
As far as the sound it has a thick creamy tone
the guitar is not harsh at all but it heavier than my other stratheads

Look on Ebay right now and I think your pre pro is in a pictorial of Mick Mar's guitar collection.

            Re: My First Prepro

I had an '82 serialized 21 fret maple board strat head with solid birdseye/quilt body [trans red] with vintage trem.....the guitar had a very very brittle tone ... the positives were it was extremely responsive to string attack and the sustain was incredible, I loved those qualities...but sadly it was a very one dimensional guitar.... it was over the top heavy and the necks backshape paper thin......it was a nice piece of furniture to look at, but as a functional guitar I was always 'eh on it....john

                  Tony, that is Brooks.
He is a well known member of JCF.
The article is the same that I sent you.
Only 2 pages show the guitar which you have already.

                        Tony, you should contact Brooks.
You should be able to get them.
Make sure you are a JCFer and mention my name.
