Not digging the gold hardware (never was my thing), but the Ash gave me wood. ;p

Looks cool to me - I don't know if I'm sold on this "carbonized" thing, but hey, if it looks cool...

Boring wood guitars don't do anything for me. Throw on a graveyard scene, Lightning Skies, or a Bengal paint job.

And I know I'm not alone. I've seen another popular member who sells lots of stunning axes not be able to dump a wood axe just like this. No bites.

So you like your guitars looking like kid's lunchboxes then? :-)

Not any more. They're merged together now.

I don't like the thread-merge stuff. It's UNNATURAL and AGAINST GOD!

Better than having a boring axe. Jackson and Charvel (and I guess a few other makes) were born having kick ass paint jobs. That's why I like them. If I want boring wood, I have my Les Pauls and SGs to look at.

3000$ is way to much for a natural wood finish with ash/alder. I've read all the marketing stuff about the "new" Kiln-drying, but it still too expensive IMHO even if it looks good.

Charvel has had natural oil finished guitars since the beginning as well

What is "black ash"? Is this like swamp ash? Or northern ash?

And, while we're at it, what's "red maple"? Never heard of that one before, or necks being made out of it.
