So I pulled the trigger on this one.
Was dirty as hell with tons of swirl marks.
The bridge & other hardware had tons of grey icky goo on it - this guitar has seen some serious playing.
Polished the guitar and fretboard - put some 10s on it and set it up in Eb.
First impressions: great feeling neck.
Not as fat as the new USA strathead Charvels but still a handful.
Feels wide with a flat back to me (luckily nowhere near Wizard-thin).
Nice playability (judging by the meager half hour of playtime it got so far) but I'll have to get back on that later.
Oh and I really missed that creamy tone that the JB gives you.
It's too dark now to take decent pictures. Will make some tomorrow.
