That eye is freaking me out. Those hooks...

I could not own that...my eyes would constantly water...or I would have to rub them all the time or something.

Mike, You're a Steelers fan? This is good.

Thanks guys. Yes, I have been a Steeler fan since birth. I grew up in PA about 80 miles north of Pittsburgh.

That's no eyesore from a Yinzer. Nice work Mr. Learn.

It's an INCREDIBLY talented piece of art...really I'm in awe of the detail

                but...

For me.... It just doesn't work for a guitar.

Call me picky, call me crazy (many do!) i just think guitar graphics are extremely finicky and they have to be well thought out with a BIG picture in mind...meaning WHO will possibly buy this? Is there ONE guy or 1,000 guys as a potential buyer?

There's a FINE line when it come's to 'art' on a guitar and what SCREAMS "I GOTTA HAVE IT!".

Take the Peter Max guitars for example...he's considered a genius in the art world but no one I know cares a fig for his art on a Jackson guitar...it just doesn't translate.

None of this is in any way meant to demean or put down Mike Learn's talent because I respect his skills as an artist...REALLY I do.

A schlub like me couldn't even hold his paint jar...but I wouldn't buy something like this.

Just my candid, guitar geek thoughts...feel free to disagree or flame! I'm perfectly fine with it.

If it shows up at NAMM, please more photos of the guitar in it's built-up form please. Heck, if It's a good holiday, I might buy it!

I'm watching the Steelers vs. Ravens game right now. And that guitar looks sick! (in a good way)
