I found this in an unlikely place last week. It appears to be bone stock except for the EMG's. I couldnt believe how clean it was. It has virtually no wear and the finish is completely intact. I assume it lived in the case most of its life. Pearl white w/ Maple/rosewood, 2H and I know a Kahler. It did have the original case too.
For 599.00 My guess is the manager did not know what it was. I did not have the whole 599 on me so I asked him to hold it for me until I got back and he kept telling me he knew it would sell, therefore I better hurry back. I tried to remain calm and uninterested, hiding my actual surprise that a 26 yo guitar could be that clean. My only reason for saying unlikely is how many times have you walked into GC to find one of these that hasnt been bastardized or beaten to hell? GC is a dumping ground for so many peoples problems when they decide to trade their old gear for new.
