Very good music in the anime series "Bubblegum Crisis"

Bubblegum Crisis 2032 was a series from the eighties that followed the adventures of four women mechanised warriors who fought against rogue robots and the company that produced those robots. That doesn't really sound like much of a plot but it was one of those key series on which movies like "The Matrix" were based on.

Under anime effectionado's BGC 2032 is ranked as one of the most action filled anime series ever while also showing human elements. But what makes this series of real interrest to us as Jackson/Charvel forum members is that it had a KILLER soundtrack. Leadcharacter "Priss" is a rock singer and her voice actress is a well known Japanese singer and many of the songs from the BGC 2032 soundtrack have charted in Japan.

No footage this time, because in the episode the song cuts out when the guitar solo starts and that's a shame because that solo is an absolute highlight in the soundtrack of this series. No footage, just the song.

The only ballad from the BGC soundtrack from the fourth episode but as one can tel by the footage even that song was set to a very hefty episode which was about extortion and murder.

Yup, I like a bunch of Anime tracks. I've got the Macross Plus soundtrack CD. While it's not loaded with shredding tracks like other shows have, I can dig it.

These shows' soundtracks definitely help to perpetuate interest in technical proficiency. When paired with the action sequences, the shredding fits. Without the visual sequences, however, they generally stand alone as "yet more wanking".
