Who influenced me to pick up the guitar? First and foremost I would have to say my dad. We always had a guitar in some corner of the house, since he played some. He never told me to get lessons, you know how some parents force their kids into taking piano lessons and they drop out of it as soon as they get the chance.

Then one day I bought Machine Head by Deep Purple, probably the first CD I ever bought. That was it for me. Blackmore put a spell on me. He was on fire, playing crazy fast, but also controlled and bluesy with feel, and one awe-inspiring vibrato.. To me he was the king of cool! That's what got me to pick up the guitar. Other than that.. A lot of players inspire me but one who influenced my style and deserve honorable mention would have to be Michael Schenker.

                          My influences are:
                          Eddie Van Halen
                          Phil Collen
                          Tom Scholz
                          John Sykes
                          SRV
                          George Lynch
                          Steve Vai
                          Joe Satriani

But my playing "style" if you want to call it that, sounds more like Phil Collen than anything else.
