He is a monster.I saw King Diamond in about '90.Blacks solo wasn't near as good as I hoped it would be,but La Rocques was scary.

+1. Don't know what he used back in the day, but I got this from the Digitech site.

Andy uses the GNX2 live and X-Series in the studio.

                        Pretty much covers that...

                        Pretty generic really. But usable...

And, I'm thinking that is what he is touring on running that into the clean channel of Marshall DSL2000s in America...

Abigail era, he was using GK 250 amps with chorus. And had previously been running older Marshalls with a Metaltronix preamp as I remember...

I saw him on the Graveyard tour.
He didn't have a lot going as far as effects go, but he went into 5150s.
He sounded pretty bad. Lifeless and flat.
Herb Simonsen played his Ibby straight into a Laney GH100L and sounded awesome.
One of the reasons why I got rid of my 5150 and got me a GH100L

Graveyard is one of the albums that I really like it's guitars sound.
The puppetmaster sound is a little dull compared with it (the music is good though).
He's one of my favorites also. He makes it look so simple.
