that high melody right after the chorus and in the beggining reminds me too much of Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years". Overall, I think its a pretty good tune.

I like it, pretty power metalish, it's nice that Dave has gotten back to doing real metal. System was his best stuff since RIP and this seems to be a continuation of that.

I don't really care for it. Might grow on me after a few listens. First impression isn't good though.

Imo the vocal melodies kick ass and the Glen Drover solo(s) suck(s) too bad! I want to listen to the studio version of it in which the singing will be much better

Like the music, Dave does not seem to be paying much attn to actually singing though...no empahsis on the sylables (sp?) he sounds real flat through much of the song

The intro does sound a little similar to Wasted Years, but what's worse is the way it falls into a typical Megadeth chord progression even before 1:30.

But...I must say that I like it!

It sounds like he hasn't had time to practice it in properly yet. Sounds like he is focusing more on the guitar than on the singing.

Looking forward to hear it again after it has gotten more refined.

It would sound better if he used Jacksons

Now let's compare it to the recently discussed "new song" from Metallica...

ya i they played that when I went to Gigantour, I didn't really like it, megadeth hasn't really been any good since the early days of Marty friedman, Ie rust in peice and countdown to extinction
