Re: Severed Serenity

Well that sucks! We should each put up $1 to pay for Ron to fly to Kelowna and kick the Severed Serenity webmaster's ass!

Hopefully the guy will stop sulking and\
come to his senses! I don't think updates are too much to ask to get the webspace paid for. Good luck wth that,
Dave and Steve.

Re: Severed Serenity

He did a great design but....If the news is old/outdated whats the use. I guess webguy figures my comment was that of an ingreat since he did it for nothing. I was/am greatful, just tired of hearing..."When are you going to update you site"? From my parents all the way to my staff at work.

[edit]

Hey Ron...The one guy you didn't post a pic of is the "Webguy"/bassist.
Another caption for keil would have been....Keil was too busy posing for the camera"! *thinking to myself* "Now that was uncalled for".

Re: Severed Serenity

It's great that he did it for free, but if he's the bassist of the band he didn't do it for "nothing"; he did it for himself and the band!

I'm sure updates are time-consuming, so maybe he could have you or someone else
help with the updating? He needs to decide whether he wants it all in his hands, or wants the site to be reasonably
current. Anyway, he'll probably cool down soon and realize you meant no harm.

Re: Severed Serenity

hmm...updating a news section of a site isn't all that time consuming...i actually did our last update...while learning dreamweaver...took me awhile, but doesn't take anyone who knows what they're doing very long...yes, we've been guilty of only updating once a month but you have to have news to report too ...and what we might find interesting, others may not...it's one of the reasons we have a forum...that keeps people who are interested in what we're doing up to date and gives them access to all the bandmembers as well...d.m.

Well, imo to admin a band's site is not that busily.Once all the site is finshed to upload some news requires just some minute, maybe it can take one hour for adding new pics and to create links. All of this in my humble opinion and with my little experience admining sites (I'm the webmaster of my band ).
