  • Gary Moore playing a Jackson

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I thought it was a bit to cool to miss out. Gary Moore playing "The Loner" on a Jackson. Makes perfect sense to me Any idea what particular model he's playing and which pickups he preferred back then? Boy do I love that sound!

Looks like a 90-91 Dinky, not really a production model then.Or maybe a soloist, couldnt really see if it's neckthrough.

Heh, that Gary Moore vid keeps popping up here.

      I'm almost certain it's a Soloist:

How many luma and chroma effects can you throw in one video... jesus christ. That is definately a soloist.

Ya, that's a soloist. You can see the heel if you blow it up. I almost want to say I could make out the "Made In USA" on the headstock, but I am not sure. I did see it had a non-recessed trem.

There is another guitar in that video too which is a bolt-on with dot inlays. That's the one in the shots with the camera attached to the headstock.
