Dime Vision Dvd

I just got this dvd today that I won on a local radio station and it kicks ass.
It shows footage of Dime from all periods of his excellent career.
It also has some home footage that will make you laugh.
All I can say is long live "DIME"

I love having this stuff on dvd, its all keeper material, dime sure did know how to live! and shred!

It even has them playing from where I used to go and watch them as a 16 year old kid around 1986 right before and after the "Power Metal"album came out,but the video has it around 1984 which is a little off ,I would have been 14 and not able to go into clubs at the time,but around then the legal age in Oklahoma was 18,and I knew the guy at the window taking money and he always let me in without I.D..It was a club called "HARD ROXX" and it was right next to 4 strip clubs ,we called it the strip as it was right off of the local army base and all the G.I.'s would come see some titties and stay out of the place that was the actually the coolest.
But Pantera would play 3 -60 min. sets,2 sets of covers and 1 set of originals.
And it seemed like they always played on drown night when it was $5 to get in and drink free beer until midnight and by then everybody was lit.And I got to watch them whenever they came to Lawton,OK.I was always amazed that this skinny guy with the wild hair and a huge ass Dean guitar was worth watching,We even ended up at an after party at a local Motel 6 where everyone was wasted,I got to meet Diamond as he was known then and just told him how killer he was at guitar.Smoked a "J" with Rex Rocker.
I'll always remember those days of my youth,before kids and before bills.
