      Becker
      Yngwie
      Gilbert
      Shawn Lane
      Ronnie? LeTreko (from TNT)
      Lynch
      Vai
      and the list goes on.
I love EVH, but I don't consider him a shredder by any means. He just rocks.

            Re: Favorite Shredder

To hop on the emotion/no emotion train......Music is far too oppinion based to say there is no emotion in any one player's style. Some people like shred, and get boners when they hear 32nd note triplet picking up and down the neck at 200bpm for 5 minutes, and if they do cool for them. The whole idea is to listen to what YOU like, rather than shit on other peoples music because it doesnt do it for you. I recently attended an Yngwie malmsteen clinic, (i am by no means a huge fan) and when asked why he hasnt changed his style in the past million years he said he does what he does because he does it well, and has a great time doing it.........Anyway the shredders that do it for me are

            paul gilbert
            rusty cooley
jeff loomis (recently found nevermore and ooooohh god!)
            michael romeo
            shawn lane
