I had hours upon hours of videos on VHS from the mid 80's metal shows from MTV and Canada's Much Music. Unfortunately the tapes are shot. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

[img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] As fate would have it out producer/stand in bass player has been writing Thors music for the last couple Thor releases. He even plays all the instruments. We laugh about the cheese factor all the time. Any cheesy riff or lyric he comes up with, he says..."Oh that’s one for Thor" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

But there was this band around the same time called "Wrath Child" Not be be confused with "Wrath Child America"...
They had a song called "Kick Down the Walls". It was fukked up with cheese! The bass drums had 10" spikes poking out of it! The singer looked like Jim Gillette in drag! "Kick down the walls...Kick em down..You gotta figh for what you believe in la la la..."

Anyone remember "Gimme Good Lovin'" by Helix?
Crue's "Too Young To Fall In Love" is another, or any of the WASP vids.

Alcatrazz's "God Blessed Video" was pretty dire, even though it featured the Green Meanie in all her glory.
As an aside, that vid featured some guy playing an Angel/Devil character. He turned up in other vids from the same period. Who the hell was he - some minor celebrity that who was completely unknown outside of the US, maybe?
