Van Halen multi color strat

Out off all the VH guitars that he has there, I think that the one that most people never talk about is his multi color tape guitar. What years fif he start playing with it? what soungs did he used to play with it? any particular story or spect about it that we should know?

that blue kramer is actually striped with colored tape. not paint.

I know that its a Kramer, but beside that, dont know much more, what songs did Ed record and played with that? any other info?

Its Purple with Tape. Its the same one he used when he jammed with Holdsworth at The Roxy in Hollywood.
