Saw Motorhead live a few nights ago...

...and I am still waiting for the ringing in my ears to stop.

I've seen them a few times but never in such a small venue. They played on the floor of a rink - sideways - and the volume was punishing. The set was 90 minutes long and just non-stop classic tunes.

Phil has a killer Marshall sound and played his ass off all night.

Lemmy sounded incredible all night. He is the real god of thunder.

Mickey Dee is a monster. Lemmy introduced him as the best drummer in rock & roll - he may be telling the truth. The man is very talented and adds a really cool vibe to the older tunes.

I saw them over here 18 months or so ago, with Anthrax supporting - it was a truly excellent gig, and like you it was pretty damn loud!

I saw them a couple months ago in NYC. Honestly, they were good as always, but I enjoyed the warm up bands better.(Brand New Sin, Zeke)

COC had finished the tour a few night before I saw them, which as a huge fan was a major let down. The promoter was smart enough to advertise both band as playing, right up until the day of the show. lol.

The opening acts were Princess and some other totally forgetable band.

He had a couple of Line 6 stacks when I saw him a couple years ago. Waaaay too much treble. My bud who worships them said the guitars were way hash this last time to.

Mickey Dee does kick some serious ass though.

I was going to go see them May 3 but it was cancelled. Someone said slow ticket sales, someone else claims it was because the Hells Angels were going to do the security (and some here might remember how that turns out). Me i'm going with slow ticket sales.
