Still didn't find anything on the custom LP.

I'm sure I remember that pic in a GFTPM mag years ago...I remember thinking the guys fingers were freaky.

I also recognize that unmasked pic from the Guitar mag!, must've been from 1989 based on the dates. Is his pinky really that long! His hand span is fretting from the 5th to the 15th fret..yikes!!

Re: Buckethead and Jackson

i think he had a device called a pinky extender, which gave him extra range with his pinky (i think it would be hard as hell to manipulate, but anyways).

that is, if the photo you;'re talking about is a magazine article, where he talks about his influences and they mention his aria pro and whatnot.

Yeah, the magazine article found in Dave's link above is what I'm referring to. I never heard of a pinky extender device,... now a penis extender device is another thing (but no experience with that either!).

Probably uses fried chicken grease instead of Finger Ease! Spicy or Mild - thats the million dollar question.

Does his Les Paul have 24frets?
If so that's cool..

I just counted on the original photo. It has 23 frets. Odd.

Yeah 23 is what I got too. Man these freaks with the odd fretted guitars eh?

It must be a much longer scale that 24.75 cuz some shots of the white custom look like you can fit two more hums between the bridge and neck pup. The guitar must weigh 15 + lbs!

Yeah, that's what the smart ass comment was for. Guess I needed the winky dude huh? Where is he anyway?

I think the odd fret thing is a very cool idea. We need to see more unique customs and also those subtle things that most wont notice.

I thought the same thing - his hands/fingers look huge! Course that pinky dildo hes wearing adds to the illusion!

Was an original GnR fan back in the late 80s' ... once Axls head swelled up everything went south - course Ive never heard chicken boy play so I cant comment on his style.

Doubt his style is anything like slashes though and will add that if he needs a "gimic" of that proportion he must not have much to deal with!

Ron; you guys should really rehearse more before you go out on stage, that way you wont need the lyric sheet! Makes for better stage presence.
