  • Bruce Dickinson's cancer

Did anyone here know about him having cancer and undergoing treatment?

I just literally found out about it (I know Ive been tuned out)

It sounds like he's in early recovery and it's too soon to know his long-term health

Yeah, it's ugly news. I heard of it about 2 weeks ago.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

It sounds like the HPV type, which has a much better rate of cure than the others.

You get it basically by being a champ and doing the right thing

Sounds like it has actually caused him a lot of physical pain, although the new album is done IIRC. Poor Brucey, guy's a legend in my eyes.

My eyes too. I was super bummed when I heard but once I got a sense of what kind he had I felt a lot more optimistic.

He would have gotten radiation and chemo if that's the case, and I don't think I can imagine just how unpleasant radiation would be in that area. Not like you can keep it still afterwords.

            He IS a legend.

Not many can say they've had the kind of long careers as Maiden has had.

You mean nowadays? Have you heard DiAnno singing lately? He's worse than Vince Neil.

I know they're getting up there in years but hopefully they have one more good tour left in them.
