  • Is that a Jackson in the new Stryper video release???

Working in the studio this past spring with the Stryper guys, seems to have yielded some interesting results. Specifically, a few of my old-school Jackson axes made an impromptu appearance in the new Stryper vid just released today...

Story is, I'd taken a few fiddles over for the guys to play around with.. kinda cool.. figured you boys would enjoy!

On another note, some pretty cool articles, reviews and goings on with the band, and their new album 'No More Hell To Pay' coming out tomorrow. We'll be at the famous Whiskey next week on the 16th, recording the show for a live video. Its a 'no comp' tour but if you're around, tickets are priced well and the guys put on an amazing show/performance, and play their a$$es off! You should come and check it out.. (I'll be the one running around like Flash).

Here's some of the tunes/releases on YouTube and a new cover just released today..

New tunes sound great. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. And very cool that your Jacksons made an appearance in the video.

Yeah it's too bad MTV sucks donkey balls now and nobody will probably ever see the new videos from them.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Pretty sure Michael Sweet's is a Carvin (block type inlays) for the solo and there are shots of him with a GMW. Oz Fox has a GMW.

That's his Carvin, I know he has a Jackson King V in the same yellow and black paint job as well and a couple times it almost looks like it switches to that one, but that main one is a Carvin.

In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

Yep. 40 seconds into the first video, the guitar with sharkfins is a GMW V. http://www.stryperforum.com/forum/vi...hp?f=11&t=3265

I actually like the Carvin better.
