Talking about Cola. You see his pupils and mouth going at 7.08? Or was that the Fishermen's Friends and the bad light?

I can agree GL has lost a few steps but you got to think, I am sure playing guitar has been his whole life and when you truly love doing something it is hard to let it go. If I were in his shoes I would probably still be playing too. I think he still has something left to contribute...maybe not at the level we have come to expect but sometimes that is life......just my opinion.

So I'm reading the latest GW, where they have an interview with Warren from Ratt and apparently he had George and Michael Schenker (at the time MS was a member of Ratt) over to watch an old Jimi Hendrix bootleg video that Warren had. Apparently Warren had some old Plexis by his front door that he was going to be taking to his tech. Apparently George got up during the show and Warren sees him leaving with the 2 amp heads. Warren thought it was a practical joke, but apparently George was trying to flip them for quick cash.

All I can say to that is fuggums. He's dead to me. You can steal a guys woman, but you don't fuck with his Marshalls.

I didn't know Schenker was in Ratt.... interesting. I remember reading some funny stories about George Lynch and Slash both wanting to buy the same amp from a rental company:

Yeah according to the interview, they brought him in to replace Robbin initially.

I've heard different versions of stories where George is trying to steal amp(s) from Warren's house. I had always heard it was because he wanted that tone. This is the first time I've heard he was going to sell them for money. What an ass.

That's unusual. Neil Kernon, who produced Dokken's "Back for the Attack" and was originally set to produce Lynch Mob's "Wicked Sensation" said that George was borrowing Warren's SLO100 for the latter's sessions. Maybe he stole that too. ;p

                    • George used to be a monster..........I was a major fan all the way through the first two Lynch Mob albums and "Sacred Groove". For me he lost it after that real fast.

I don't think this is an age thing. There's plenty of really great players in their 50's that are still very good (Vai, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, etc. etc.).

I think these days John Levin does Lynch better than Lynch himself. That 2009 clip of In My Dreams that is posted earlier in this thread is a testament to this.
