What Charvel did Phil Collen use on the Hysteria tour?

Anybody wanna refresh my memory?

I have that DVD and have been watching the VHS and whatnot for 20 years and...I never even noticed he played a Charvel, I thought it was all Jacksons.

The DVD I have has all Jacksons.

When I saw them here on that tour I never saw a Charvel, they were all Jackson that he was using. He was switching between his sig. model and Dinkys.

I'm not sure if it was the Hysteria tour, but I remember seeing him playing one of the Model Charvels-Import.

I always thought the white one was a Charvel. Maybe my life has been a lie up to this point.....

Coulda been that he never played it when he was here, doesn't mean he didn't use one in other cities and for the video. Haven't seen the video so I can't comment on that. Oh, and get in on the guitar!!

I remember seeing a picture of Phil playing a Charvel but I don't remember what magazine it was in. I remember it looked like a model series, I remember at the time being excited he was playing it because i had the two Charvels. It was when Steve Clark was alive, I think in the same magazine there was a picture of Steve Clark playing a hot either pink or orange Hamer which always stuck in my mind because it wasn't a Les Paul and I always wanted a Californian like that one.

Agreed, pretty sure it was a white import...

When Mutt Lange turned him on to Charvels one of the 1st guitars he got was a Model 5. He was also spotted playing a white Model 3 with a Kahler trem on a few live shots. Then he got endorsed and the USA Jackson's came to light.

Given that he was known for his Ibanez Destroyers, he was sent a few Kelly's early one too.

I think I saw an magazine ad once where he had a toothpaste logo Charvel...... I think it was white. not 100% sure though.........
