  • Quiet Riot vid from 1986

So I was talking with an old friend of mine about cars & stuff, and Dean Jeffries' shop came up. http://www.motortrend.com/classic/fe...w/viewall.html I used to ride past there all the time back in the day and see some of the cool vehicles parked there, including the Landmaster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landmaster

Anyways, the vehicle (along with the Black Beauty) was featured in this Quiet Riot video The Wild & The Young:

which, like most videos from the 80s, is quite cheesy but also features some cool old school Jacksons such as a Kelly and a Soloist.

I spent a couple of weeks with relatives in N.Hollywood back in '89. I remember seeing that vehicle in a yard by the freeway somewhere nearby.

That video brought back memories. What was that cheesy movie that featured the Landmaster? I think George Peppard was in it.

I saw QR in 1983 or 84...laugh if you will but I consider that show to be the loudest and best sounding show I've ever seen. Those guys just rocked.
