  • Trouble - Run To The Light

MAN....what a blast from the past. Not sure what made me think of these guys but i can remember jamming to this CASSETTE back in the day. The vocals aren't as great as i remember but the break where the lead player goes bluesy is still very cool. Great tune-age from back in the dizay.

Just curious to see how many old fogies remember these dudes...

I've never heard of them before, but they remind me of Metal Church.

I always liked the guitar break in "At the End of My Daze" as well as the chunky main riff. I could only take the vocals for a few songs though.

Saw them in concert back in the day at a small venue. They "head-lined" it. Really great show. Music was tight...mix was good...singer had the longest hair I have ever seen on a dude...down to his knees. I liked everything they put out. Great tunes...

This was one of my fav's...

Big Trouble fan back in the day here. They always had a huge guitar tone.

Trouble have done a lot of cool stuff. However, IMO, "Manic Frustration" is their best album by far. It's a lot more straightforward than their earlier stuff, and it delivers a good dose of ass-kickage.

I have one of their albums, it's decent. It's the one with "At the end of my daze" on it. Can't say I listen to it overmuch, but it is decent.
                  Aren't they god-botherers?

I remember Trouble. I liked them. My favorite was Psychotic Reaction.

Yep, I believe they were like a Christian "Doom/Stoner Metal" band on their earlier stuff. I never really followed them, but they were cool, saw them open for Savatage in 1990.

I wouldn't call them "botherers" (what?), they're considered more spiritual / positive than religious, check out the BNR bio: http://www.bnrmetal.com/v2/search.php?name=trouble

Yep, still have their first "record" (on white vinyl, no less!) and saw them tour behind (I think) their 2nd album in San Francisco in the mid-late 80's...there was some connotation with Christian metal at the time (as I think Strper was the only other game in town), but that faded over time...
Crime doesn't pay. Neither does lutherie...
