i remember, i had lessons from this guy one time, that was about 50, he had a small modeling processing unit, it was 5" by 7", zoom was the brand. but he managed to hit every tone under the sun, malmsteen, vai, hendrix, zakk, EVH, and satch. all of this on a beringer amp. i wanted to look in to something similar, but maybe a little higher quailty. that thing looked like if you took a misstep it would fall apart.

That was probably a Zoom 505. I sold one that I had lying around recently. If you want a better Zoom that doesn't look like it'll fall apart if you step on it, get the G2.1u -
