I never tried those PODstuff...
But I need something to practice at night without turning the "big gear" on. So it's interesting for me.
I'm afraid that thing will be as bad as KORG's Pandora? (Question)
I tried this "pocket pud" last night and it was ok. It seemed like if you dropped it , it would shatter on impact veryfragile. the sustain was very good, and was easy to use. It came with USB plug too. The cost was 120.00 usd
It sound kind of "tinny" to me. All the distortion sounded the same too me ,except insano. The clean sounds were cool. Ok for practicing. I was using headphones, and didn't run it through a amp.
I find myself practicing in front of my computer quite often. Usually with and acoustic. I could really use this pocket pod so that I could just plugin to my computer sound card and jam through my monitors.
I can think of a few uses for it...like mounting it inside a guitar.
they already have Alesis X guitar which does that.

Seems perfectly suited for travel. Also perfect for us military guys going to the desert who need to jam during their downtime. I've seen tons of guys carrying their acoustics with them so this would be a welcome change.
My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!
