Boss GT Pro

just ordered the Boss GT Pro 19" rackmount unit, already had a GT8, and currently using the Rocktron Prophesy live, but wanted something for my home recording studio, loved my GT8 but got fed up of drunk people walking all over the damn thing at gigs.

When you say" walking all over it"
Do you mean stepping on the jacks sticking out,(not good)
or stepping on the patch pedals and changing your patchs?

The reason I was asking is I have a GT-5, and I was also worried about the jacks that stick out getting stepped on and breaking the inner board.
So I made this at work (I mean @ home) for it.

The GT-6/8 is all metal. All the jacks are metal too. You would really have to have a major accident in order to break a GT6/8. Stepping on one of the plugs protruding out of the GT-6/8 would not cause any damage.

I've been considering the GT pro but it's basically the gt6 in a rack mount and I can't justify spending an extra $600 for that option. When the price comes down to reality, I'm definately in for one!
