• Marshall JCM 900 Combo question

My next purchase will be hopefully be a tube combo amp. There is one of these locally, but I don't know enough about it to know if I'm getting a good price.

What's a good price for one of these?

Thanks all

they usually sell on EBay in the $700.00 range.
my buddy just sold one for $700.00.
I think for a Marshall these are some of the worst
combos they ever made.
I would look at an 800 instead.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Thanks for the info, I will keep looking. I think my ideal amp might be a Dual Rectifier Tremoverb. That or a vintage Fender Pro.

As much as I'm not a MESA fan, they would be a better choice than than any post 800 era Marshall.

I am always the only guy saying this for some reason. I had one of these when it first came out and I FUCKING LOVED IT. It rocked, and it KICKED THE SHIT out of my roommates Mk III Simulclass combo.

My two cents.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

What I read Mike saying is that maybe you should give it a try before writing it off. Who knows, it might be just what you are looking for? Never hurts to take it for a test drive.
