  • Impedance (ohms) on a stereo power amp?

Before I do something stupid, I just want to make sure that I've got this right...

If I have a stereo preamp, and each channel lists a minimum load of 4 ohms, that means that I can in fact run a pair of 4 ohm cabs, correct? Not like a mono amp where connecting two 4 ohm cabs would put the total impedance at 2 ohms?
