anyone ever try these speakers? http://professional.celestion.com/gu...etail.asp?ID=7 sounds interesting of a mix between a greenback and a v30, sounds like what i am looking for.

I've got an Avatar 2x12 cab with one of those and one Vintage 30 , so I can kind of lean back and forth and hear the differences in the two speakers.
Honestly, I'm glad I have both, cause they compliment each other very well.
Slightly better bottom than the V30, a little smoother, a little darker. Nothin nasty about it though. -

Thanks chuck, that is what i am looking for a tighter bottom, but smoother breakup with the harshness.Comment

Avatar sells one for $388 plus $49 shipping with brown wicker grill and black tolex. http://www.avatarspeakers.com/ look for the G412 special cab, you can choose between 4 greenbacks or 4 v30's or 4 of G12H (these speakers) speakers or 4 75's. I think i am gonna order the G12H cab from them.Comment
