• Marshall question

I have a JCM 2000 DSL 100 watt head that keeps blowing fuses. Has 2 little fuses in the back, the smaller one blows, rather often lately. (I'm at work right now, or I'd tell you which fuse it is...) Don't know why... Last night, first note through the amp, fuse blows...??? Been in there about 4 days... Anybody got any ideas on why this is happening,...all of a sudden like??? It has happened before, but like months apart, now like every week...
Hardware: all black, all the time.

    Re: Marshall question

Could be tubes, could be a transformer... pull the power tubes and see if it blows fuses then. If it does, then take it to a repair shop. DSL's aren't exactly amps for someone to work on themselves, unfortunately.

Whatever you do, DO NOT replace the fuse with a higher value or different type than what it came with - you could damage the amp. The fuse is blowing because something is wrong and it's killing the fuse instead of damaging the amp further.
