  • POD 2.0 vs Boss GT6 (for high gain and practicalit

Well around April I got a POD 2.0 and this thing is really cool, but with GT6s going down in price I was thinking that I could be able to change it for one. It's much funner as obviously it's a pedalboard. But is it as good as the POD 2.0, especially for high gain models and practicality of
use? Would it be worth the change + some bucks on the side?
Edit: or even the boss ME50?

And the Digitech GNX1 is also in the list... Please people?

Of the list... I'd probably go Roland GT6. My singer/rhythm guitarist uses the POD 2.0 and I much prefer my Johnson J-Station to it. The GNX series has this... I'll call it an overtone, that just won't go away so I'm not into them. Had a GNX4 briefly but, sold it due to this. ME50 would also work. A friend of my uses one with a 5150 combo.

I have a POD 1 and a GT8 and the GT8 blows away the pod IMHO.

The GT-6 blows the POD 2.0 away. The GT-8 is even better.

              +1 GT-8

I'm loving being able to run dual amp models in stereo on mine...

The GT8 is WAY out of any budget I'd ever put down for it. It'd be either selling the POD 2.0 and shoving an extra 50 bucks or a straightforward exchange, for the GT6 only.

POD 2.0 kicks major ass. I actually like it better than the PODxt. Just my opinion!

Sam Ash in springfield New Jersey has a used GT 8 for $310. I paid $440 for mine.

i like the pod's distortion sounds more than the gt6, but the gt6 has better everything else.
