What gives the most convincing Fender/Marshall/Mesa sound with a floorboard or footswitchable channels - effects are not necessary.

I have a Digitech RP100 which is OK, but the Tech 21 Tri-AC looks more promising.

A POD with a floorboard or POD XT live are definitely cool, but I don't need the complexity or expense, but I'll consider going that far if it's really worth it.

Can you footswitch a Pandora PX3/4? How do it's models compare?

Not a Modeler but if you are looking for 3Ch preamp, Hafler/Bogner Triple Giants.

I've got a Tri-AC pedal... it is awesome and does very convincing sounds of Fender/Marshall/Mesa. Also, it responds very nicely with an OD pedal in front of it if you need more gain.

The Tri-AC is a great unit. Wide range of great tones. The PSA-1 is also the bomb, but I guess a little too expensive.
