Picked up the OG last month.

OG 5150 are sweet... when you play one it feels like you're one with the amp... hard to explain.... have only ever felt it on a 5150... JSX no, Ultra Plus no... it must be the 5 preamp tubes that bring the magic The sound just explodes through the amp

They are quite special. I have an original too, but it's getting finicky in its old age. What kind of cab are you using?

The 5150 is going through an ADA 2x12 with Vintage 30’s.
The 5150 II is on a Marshall 4x12.

Which one do you like best? I've heard they sound best on peavey 5150 cabs. I've tried a bunch of combos. V30s in carvin 4x12, Mesa metal grill, marshall, and a krank 4x12 with texas heats and swamp things. I like the krank the best, but it needs a little more V30 high end with a 2x12 extension.
