• Pitch Controller

I don’t know if “Pitch Controller” is the right term for what I’m looking for. Basically I was wondering if there is anything out there that does the same thing as the Detune Feature on the Digitech Whammy pedal. I think the Detune Feature of the Whammy pedal sounds cool but I don’t want to buy the Whammy pedal just to get this feature.
I did some searching on google, but I couldn’t find anything because I really don’t know what I’m looking for.

Also if anyone has tried the Detune option of the Whammy pedal how well does it actually work?

Boss PS-5 SUPER Shifter Pedal.
About 170 dollars.
Like a Whammy pedal without the pedal
in a stompbox sized box.
Does detune and intelligent pitchshift.
Has input jack for external controller pedal
if you ever want to use it as whammy pedal.

Re: Pitch Controller

Probably overkill, but one of the effects on my Johnson J-Station is "Pitch Shift/Detuning" that sounds like what you're looking for.

These hover around the $100 mark on the Bay, used.

The detune feature on my Digitech XP100 Whammy/Wah sounds a little like chorus. It just seems like it detunes the strings a tiny bit off pitch.
