I don't like that pedal. It sounds very muddy. Like a bad version of a MXR Distortion +. If you want killer distortion go with a Boss Metal Zone.

Boss HM-3
i have been offered a trade for one of these, for my boss cs-3 compressor
so anyone know anything abuot this pedal? good points? bad points?
anything better for the price (heavy metalish distortion)

The first metal pedal i got was a HM-3 and i loved it.the other guitarist in the band had a ibanez pedal and it sounded like ****..but then he got a metal zone and then i sounded like ****...so i had to get a metal zone too...Comment
