Just a TubeScreamer! Anything more than that is WAY too complicated for my fragile little mind!
I did try putting a rack together,but I just couldn't get on with it- I spent more time tweaking knobs than playing guitar.(Some folk thought that was a good thing! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] )

In my live rig, I use a Line6 Flextone II Head with the Floorboard. I've got a BBE Sonic Maximizer 411 in the effects loop that I highly recommend for ANYONE. That's all the effects I'm using in that setup.
In my practice amp setup, I've running a Boss HR-2 Harmonist into a Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal into an Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer into a Boss SD-2 Dual Overdrive into my Line6 Spider 1x12.
My favorite pedal is by far the TS-9 for the glassy tube like tone it gives the Line6.
