Help an 80s metal guy find a more modern amp

    How about a RD5C or RD20, I have a Randall RD5C and it is unbelievable. After a tube swap it is not raspy or harsh. Put it through the 4X12 I have and it is great. If you need more than 20 watts, RD45 is good, but I prefer the 5 and 20. Just something about the 6V6 in these.

      That was my first real amp...My Gorilla with a BOSS DS1 was all I needed to get metal tones!
