    I have gigged with my GT-8 for 7 years now, I love it. I used to use all the patches and modeling with my Carvin V3, and created new patches, etc, but once I got my Marshall DSL100H (a MUCH better sounding amp than the Carvin) I just use the 4 cable method for the effects in manual mode.

    you can't beat it for convenience, way better than a bunch of stomp boxes for convenience of setup and breakdown.

      Still gigging with mine. Got it when they were the new shit. No issues with mine. As skorb above, I use it with the 4 cable method for wah, FX or OD only. I played mine through 4 different amps and always had a great success.

      I don't know if you have a midi cable to plug it in your computer, but you can use a software such as this one:

        I used to own a GT-8, but hated the small display. To use with my PC, I got a MIDI to USB cable and Gumtown's GT FXFloorboard editor. Its a much better editor than the GT-Master suggested above.
