    I understand, but it is well worth getting some mods done on these amps. The mods really change the JVM for the better, it goes form a good amp to an awesome amp.

      Absolutely. The mods are simple and they make a noticeable difference, but I'm like you guys , I'd f*ck it up or zap myself. I'm lucky this guy I used is really good, reasonable and into his job.

        I use to own a JVM and it was by far a better amp then the 5150 at the time. What I liked most about it was the usable clean channel it had.
        With the Mod's you made , did it effect the clean channel at all?

          no not really the mods I did focus on the OD1 channel (I only have OD1 on the 210H)
          the negative feedback mod effects the entire amp but that mod does not add/kill any gain
          now I'm running this rig with my Axe FX in 4CM mode.
