Long overdue, and I still need to get my guitars and keyboards on camera sometime

    Crappy cellphone pics:

The Rm4+Mpx G2 and the Piranha+Intellifex can be routed to the PC
(simply not enough inputs, need to get me a GCX when funds come available)
the top modules on the Rm4 are a stock blackface and SL+

the Randall setup is also routed to the RT2/50 (1 side 6L6, the other EL34) driving the 2x12 with V30s
-which holds the weight of the flightcase, the closet wouldn't be able to hold that sucker without serious strengthening-
though with the volume issues (too much in a tiny room), I'm running silent 99% of the time

And No! you didn't see me play with my dolls again!

Pretty cool set up. I never did the rack, preamp, power amp route myself as I was afraid it'd get out of control with too much rack mountable stuff.

I didn't know you could mismatch tubes. Do you run these in a dual mono scenario - 1 set of effects for one side, a different set for the other?

basically the RT2/50 is 2 midi-switchable mono 50W poweramps, no bridging to 100W possible
you can run both sides at the same time, or switch between them

In stereo-mode you can have 1 or 2 preamps with both channels running to their respective cabs, you can mix tubes and cabs in this mode or match all and go 'true' stereo

In switching mode you can choose between the channels, so you can have 1 or 2 preamps going into 1 or 2 cabs

if you use 2 preamps and/or cabs you're limited to which preamp/cab goes in which channel carrying which tube
So if Preamp 1 is in the input of channel 1, you can't switch it to channel 2 without unplugging
              same for cabs
if Cab 1 is on the output of channel 1, you can't switch it to channel 2 without unplugging
my setup, is 1 preamp to one cab switching between EL34 or 6L6

If you look at the modular setup of the MTS line, it's a perfect idea
Any Marshall-based modules in the RM4 could be routed to EL34s driving Celestions
and any Fender modules could use the 2nd channel containing 6L6s driving Jensens

              (Side note:
on the MTS RM100 and Lynchbox, being mono output amps, using the bias system, you can actually mix 2 different pairs of tubes
so you're literally driving and hearing 2 different characters, there is no issue in -for instance- putting in a pair of KT88s and a pair of 5881s as long as you bias correctly)

I love it, It is a little outdated, but I like the distortion tones I get out of it, and the effects also, the only thing I don't like, it has a little lag switching channels.

Never had one but my 2150 was my favorite.

Btw I really miss my triple giant. After I moved mine I had a chance to get one of the original Bogner ones for a song (sorta). Was 1700 just didn't have it at the time. I really miss it. I assume you love it?

Personally, the Triple G has a great clean channel, a decent crunch, but a way too hairy lead

I can't argue that. Being a fanboy of the fish and AIC I loved it. You are ultimately right though.

Cool pix guys! I still like all this older rack stuff. I go way back with the rack stuff to the days of the MP-1 and a Digitech DSP 128+ I still have most of my rack stuff except for a few things that I sold off over the years. The rack units I sold off include the DSP 128+, Korg A3, GSP 2101 LE in purple, and a solid state QSC single space power amp. Everything else I still have (Marshall JMP, ADA MP-1, Randall RM4, Mesa Triaxis, etc...).
