  • my slx update

    feels like i havent been on here for ages.
    my white soloist i had a while back i decided to strip the paint off i had some fun with it.
    upgraded the pickups to a dimebucker and a 59 a floyd 1000 with a brass block.
    relicd the hardware with some sandpaper and metal polish

    Nice !
    A few Charvels, a bunch of Jacksons, JVM full stack, valve king half stack and an 4000 watt PA for a home stereo, my neighbors love me....

              I'm a fan of any wood that looks distressed or aged and that looks fantastic.
              96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

                  Thanks all the hardest part was removing the paint that stuff was on there thick i think the basswood looks pretty nice bits of flame hear and there along the neck
