  • professional help... lol

May go look at this, the price is nice... I know some of the professionals were supposed to be good... is this one of them or is this from after they became diluted??..

A few Charvels, a bunch of Jacksons, JVM full stack, valve king half stack and an 4000 watt PA for a home stereo, my neighbors love me....

I am taking a guess here but I believe that might be a Kelly Std. with the original finish stripped and then stained.

It's a KE4. They were made with either poplar or ash bodies. That one is ash. Page 11. https://assets.ctfassets.net/4jcppge...97-catalog.pdf

Most people do. It's the only other Kelly I could think of with dots in the Professional series that was available with an ash body as an option.

Well now with those unique features I surely won't forget the KE4 next time! Thanks!

No problem. Usually the poplar bodies show up and not many ash.

It is a MIJ by the narrow fret marker dots. $200 with case is a good deal. Without case is an ok deal.

I'd say better than JS but I'm a snob. Only 2 MIK guitars, the rest MIJ or USA.

Definitely better than a JS. It should sit comfortably alongside your 1C, DK2 & 475

                        .
It's also MIJ because it says Professional.
