  • Revalver 3 clip, Hows she sound?!?

Im working on a new tune, and im trying out Revalver.

The clip itself is a trial for some vocals. I want an edgier sound, but my voice doesnt do what I want

LEt me know how its sounding so far, and any tweaks you would make to the mix/tone?!?

    Thanks!

It sounds very professional to me. Not my taste at all, it's a bit too modern sounding for me, but in general the sound is excellent. You're not a bad singer too - maybe not aggressive enough for metal, but again, sounds quite professional. Maybe you could try singing a little higher?

It's just all a bit too nu-metal for my tastes.

Thanks MArt. Actually, if you heard any of my past stuff, it was iron maidenish sounding. Im not a NU-metal guy, but I wanted to try an different "edge"

Thanks for listening though, its still a Work in prog!

That sounds really good. I am a fan of Revalver. Its the closest modeling sim out there.

Jack. Ive been "struggling" with the mastering portion of my recordings. Do you notice things "muddy" at all? I just have my mixers and my headphones, but of which are fairly high end audio units. But when I play on my car stereo or a lesser source, it sounds mussy and overly bassy.

Any thoughts? Theres other mp3s in that dir that I remastered, not sure if anyone else notices them
