Nice chops dood! Pretty darn good for only 2 years. You got the speed thing down. You should download some backing tracks and play on top of them. I think you'll be surprised in yourself.

One thing though. You should find a better more professional sounding way to record. Take pride in your recordings even if you don't really like what you are recording. Likeing the way your stuff sounds is more important than likeing the song you wrote. At least it is for me.

Anyway, enough of my rant.

Dude, 2 years?? You're a natural!! Reminds me of someone I know with the intials JL. Try not to learn other people's stuff note for note. Instead, let that stuff inspire your own ideas..that will help you remain as original as possible. Alot of players are too concerned with learning theory and other people's music. Even if you did, all you learned is other people's music..avoid that. Do your own thing..with your skill you could be be a metal monster!! Theory is cool but not knowing it makes you think outside the box and any ideas you do get.."just go for it"..someone awesome told me that.

I got all that from your "crappy" recording..that's much more than I get from alot of really professional recordings.

My son has been playing for a year and he's coming up with right hands palm muted rythms I didn't develope in 30 years. I still have him in the solo department..for now!
