  • Cakewalk HS2

Does anyone use Cakewalk. I currently own HomeStudio 2. Just looking for opinions on it. I'm currently doing the in-software tutorials. I'm still a newbie at it, though I've recorded a couple of songs just by messing around with it.

Also, are there any extras to the program on the net I can download, for example drum tracks, etc.

Does HS2 support plug-ins? I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 for doing rough demos in the past, but then bought Sonar Home XL (forget what version) because it would support plug-ins while CPA9 would not. Of course, I haven't done any home recording since then, as our vocalist has a Pro Tools rig. There are free plug-ins out there if that's what you're looking for. I would assume that HS2 uses the VST format, but you should confirm that first.
