  • WASP - I Wanna Be Somebody.... With a twist!

Did a coversong with my Canadian Bro, Bryan today!

He laid down the vocal tracks at his house in good ol' Canadia and send the files to me.

Really happy with the Pod XT tone! Actually got it sounding like it has balls!

Anyhoo, changed some stuff... Sped the song up a lot, added a solo at the end and of course, it's quadtracked in C, hahaha!

Aye, trick to pods is treating them like you'd record a real amp.

Multiple mic setups, multiple tracks different amps, etc.

Each single pod patch i use sounds arse on it's own.

I also have to do a lot of work in my DAW to make it sound less "pod"

        Cheers guys

Very cool! Your version of the solo works great with the overall feel. I love the original but it would have been pointless to do it note for note. Well done!

That tone sounds excellent. What did you do the drums with?

Good, but I am the worst critic. Thank you for choosing that CLASSIC song. It's sacred. I really appreciate the nod and the work involved. Metal on!

POD's rock... I personally have never really thought they sounded like ass, (well most models) This track has that armada of guitars sound.
