  • Guitar playthrough video with my 8-string Jackson (a track from my first album)

    Hello everyone!
I want to present you a guitar playthrough video to my track "Memoirs of a Geisha", which is part of my debut solo album "9 Stories", that I released last year:

I used my customized Jackson JS32-8Q - Kahler 2218 tremolo, Seymour Duncan Pegasus, and custom Moon Phase inlays, by my own design

    Enjoy

That was great... love the solo and the arpeggiated run starting just before 4m... and really cool progressions on your melody near the end.

That was really great. Is the beginning a theme from some typical "folk"??? song. It took me a while. I know I have heard a variation of that melody/ theme. After about an hour, it hit me that Marty Friedman had a similar take on that melody on his solo album "Themes". Regardless incredible playing.
