infinite buffering with short mp3 files

I have the following problem:

It seems that short mp3 files (e.g. 2 seconds) causes infinite buffering in the player.

The first mp3 (5 seconds) loads and plays with no problem. The second one (2 seconds) keeps buffering all the time.
