Just looking to put some subwoofers in my truck.
If I run two 4 ohm subs to a one channel amp I would be running
the amp at 2 ohm right?

Depends on how many voice coils. http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/IS...rs_wiring.html

If single VC and parallel, yes. If serial, 8 ohms.

If you wire both of the speakers positive leads together and both of the negative leads together it will give you a 2 ohm load. If you wire one of the speakers positive leads to the negative lead of the other speaker and the remaining leads to the amp it will give you a 8 ohm load. IIRC,if you run a amp bridged in mono mode a 2ohm load becomes a 1 ohm load, which not all amps can handle. It has been several years since I have messed with car audio so I could be wrong on my thoughts so you might want to get some more oppinions.

The sub's are single voice coil, and the amp can handle the 2 ohm load.
The amp is just a mono block but it's 2X power at 2 ohm.
          Thanx all
